Special Counsel at Baker & Mckenzie Vietnam
https://www.bakermckenzie.com/en/locations/asia-pacific/vietnamTrung is a special counsel of Baker McKenzie in Ho Chi Minh City, specializing in employment, dispute resolution, and corporate compliance and investigation. He is an accredited mediator at the Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in London and at the Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center. He frequently publishes articles and leads seminars on both advisory and contentious labor and employment law issues in Vietnam.
Trung has worked in the Firm's Hanoi and Chicago offices. He also acts as Co-chair of the Human Resources and Training Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, and Steering Committee Member of the Vietnam Business Forum's HR Working Group.
Thao is a key member in numerous global and local engagements related to immigrations in Vietnam, which covers entry visa, work visa, temporary residence card, police check and document legalization.
Thao has extensive experience in dealing with various issues and is able to facilitate effective consultant for her clients. In addition, she has also been supporting the clients in access the potential risks in compliance with local regulations, provide advice and strategic guidance on visa and immigration matters for improving the policy implementation.
Laurent advises global immigration law firms, global relocation companies, as well as direct clients on Vietnam’s Immigration and work permit among other global mobility matters. He has been overseeing the company’s branch office in Hanoi which he opened more than 14 years.
Laurent has also been active for many years on advocacy work with VBF HR working group and EuroCham HR sector committees on work permit and Immigration matters.
